How the calculator works

For each food: total carbohydrate per serving × servings eaten. Add the results for the whole meal. For example, 30 g × 1 serving plus 15 g × half a serving equals 37.5 g.

Check the label's serving size and total carbohydrate, rather than only its sugar line. If you eat twice the labeled serving, enter 2 servings. This calculator does not subtract fiber or sugar alcohols.

Food labels and portions are estimates. This total does not predict your glucose response or calculate an insulin dose. Follow your care team's plan.
