- Content you submit for meal scan or nutrition label scan, including photos and the resulting meal records.
- Messages you send to support or feedback you share with us.

- Crash logs, performance diagnostics, and reliability data.

We use information we collect to operate and improve GluKee, including to:
- Create and maintain your account.
- Support logging, sync, backup, reports, reminders, and other core features.
- Process meal scan requests and generate structured scan results.
- Support AI-assisted explanations, summaries, and follow-up responses where those features are available.
- Provide customer support and respond to account, privacy, or technical requests.
- Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.
5. Meal Scan And AI Processing
When you use meal scan, nutrition label scan, or AI-supported features, submitted content and related account data may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf to return results inside the app.
- Meal and label scans are used to generate structured estimates and suggestions.
- AI-supported insights are designed to explain patterns in clearer language, not to diagnose or prescribe treatment.
- AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your situation, so important medical decisions should always be confirmed with a qualified clinician.
6. Storage, Sync, And Retention
GluKee uses a local-first approach in parts of the product, and some information may also be stored in cloud systems to support account-based features like backup, sync, and cross-device access.
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and the feature involved.
7. Service Providers
We use third-party providers to help us operate GluKee. Based on the current product setup, these may include providers for authentication and database infrastructure, subscriptions, analytics, diagnostics, attribution, and AI processing.
Examples used in the current product stack include Supabase, RevenueCat, PostHog, Meta App Events, and AI processing providers used for scan or insight features.
8. Sharing
We do not sell your personal or health data.
We may share information only in limited situations, such as:
- With service providers that help us operate the service.
- When you choose to export or share a report.
- When required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, or the service.
- As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or asset sale, if applicable.
9. Subscriptions And Payments
Subscription purchases are handled through Apple App Store and Google Play billing. GluKee does not receive your full payment card number from those app stores.
10. Your Choices
You may have options to:
- Access, update, or correct account information.
- Adjust preferences and notification settings in the app.
- Export data through available in-app tools.
- Request help deleting your account and associated data.

Depending on where you use GluKee and where our providers operate, information may be processed in countries other than your own.
